Wonderland the Norwegian Transparency Act

The Transparency Act – ethical and transparent supply chains

The Norwegian Transparency Act aims to promote corporate transparency, and respect for human rights and decent working conditions throughout the supply chain.

The Transparency Act requires that companies provide information upon request and carry out due diligence assessments, which must be documented in a report made publicly available. The Act does not require companies to disclose the names of their suppliers or business partners.

How we work with the Transparency Act

We work long-term and with clear intention to create a supply chain that is as transparent as it is sustainable. Our work includes:

  • Complete mapping of all suppliers – to ensure a clear and secure overview.
  • Mandatory signing of the Wonderland Code of Conduct – our ethical guidelines that all suppliers must follow.
  • Self-assessment through the Wonderland Code of Conduct Score – where suppliers evaluate how they meet the requirements.
  • Supplier visits with a focus on responsibility – we observe, ask questions, and follow up on site.
  • Risk analysis using the Global Rights Index – to identify and act on potential risk areas.
  • Clear documentation and full transparency – the results are published on our website under “About us.

This approach allows us to continuously improve quality, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that our responsibility is visible at every step of the production process.
