Wonderland the Norwegian Transparency Act

The Transparency Act – ethical and transparent supply chains

The Norwegian Transparency Act aims to promote corporate transparency, and respect for human rights and desent working concitions throughout the supply chain.

The Transparency Act requires that companies provide information upon request and carry out due diligence assessments, which must be documented in a report made publicly available. The Act does not not require companies to disclose the names of their suppliers or business partners.

How we work with the Transparency Act

  • We map all our suppliers.
  • All suppliers must sign our ethical guidelines, Wonderland Code of Conduct.
  • Our suppliers receive a self-assessment form, Wonderland Code of Conduct Score, where they can rate how they comply with the guidelines.
  • When visiting a supplier, Wonderland will observe how our guidelines are being followed and interview employees at different levels of the company.
  • We analyze the collected information to identify potential risk elements and assess measures. Risks related to different countries are evaluated based on the Global Rights Index.
  • We document results and follow-up plans and make the information available on our website under “About Us.” Consumers may also submit inquiries directly to Wonderland.
